The building blocks of great physical health include nutrition and hydration, exercise, restorative sleep, rest and recharge, ergonomics and what I term ‘Health IQ.’

A diet of health-inducing vitality is not only conducive to optimal physical health; it also provides the biochemical blueprint for a brilliant life.
And of course the power of hydration; why drinking enough water can be a real game changer for your energy and focus.
Exercise ( which I call the greatest pill of all) reduces the risk of so many health conditions; providing a much needed boost in energy and vitality. In fact it can be so good for your physical health that it is considered to have anti-ageing properties.
Appreciating the important restorative role that getting enough quality sleep plays in your health and vitality. Not forgetting the importance of rest,relaxation and recharge.
Ergonomics is understanding and appreciating the potential impact of the work environment on your health. Why ergonomically-friendly workplace design is so critical to your long term health and vitality.
Underpinning all of these elements of your physical health pillar is what I term your ‘Health IQ’- having enough knowledge, awareness and the right attitudes to support informed choices and decisions in terms of your health and vitality. This means knowing your body and family medical history, appreciating any change in normal and getting things checked out if you have concerns. Remember the benefits of a good check up. A stitch in time saves nine! Prevention and early detection can be so much better than cure.
